New York - Former Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Dominic Strauss-Kahn (DSK) had to pay dearly to settle sexual harassment case out of court.
DSK, according to French media reports, pay up to U.S. $ 6 million to the waiter Sofitel Hotel New York, Nafissitou Diallo, drop the charges of sexual harassment.
Cases that occurred in May 2011 and the horrendous French makes DSK who was nominated for presidency, tarnished its image.
Reportedly, representatives of DSK and Diallo will complete the deal this week. DSK is also rumored to be behind the defamation claim Diallo clean.
Manhattan court decided to dismiss the case because Diallo deemed ineligible as a witness and testimony doubtful.
